Some of us are forced to go out in the rain for work or duty. Others choose to. Either way, you’re going to get wet without the right gear. And while there’s a vast number of jackets claiming to be waterproof, not all of them deliver on that promise.
We put everything we know about rainwear into designing and making the Torrent – our hardest-working waterproof jacket. It starts with the waterproof fabric but it’s our hood, sleeves, and seams that stop you from getting wet.
The Torrent waterproof jacket is tough, yet surprisingly lightweight. The unique AEGIS WORX® fabric is it’s foundation, shedding rain and creating a shell to keep the wind at bay, allowing you to work through the worst storm due to enhanced breathability.
From the hood to the neoprene cuffs, the storm flaps to the Velcro cuffs, we reckon the Torrent offers incredible bang for your buck.

UK DPD Express - £7.99
Estimated delivery time for this service is 1-2 working days. This service is with DPD and standard delivery days are Monday - Friday. You will receive a 1 hour delivery time slot on the day by email and text and have the ability to move the delivery as required.
International Tracked Deliveries - From £6.50
Estimated delivery times for this service is 7 – 12 business day. You will be sent a tracking number once the item is dispatched and as the parcel progresses the tracking will update. The countries national carrier will take over final mile delivery and you can track on their website using the same tracking number.

Returns Period
We offer a very generous 60-Day Returns Period for ALL orders - as we know it isn't always easy to get returns to us if you are planning on giving as a gift.

This jacket is the ducks nuts, turn a shite day into a good one. It's beautifully made and it's simple ,light.
I'm a builder and it's just prefect, no flash shit to get in the way, and most of all it keeps ya well dry. The other lads have the other brands costing the same , but they seem abit heavy and have heaps of other stuff that ya don't need. Could be more stoked with this purchase

Just returned from a 3 day, 60km, tramp around the Hump Track in Fjordland. Really appreciated my new raincoat. 2nd day bucketed down with cold Southland rain. Warm and comfortable inside the rain coat.

I was looking for a longer waterproof coat, nothing to heavy and preferably something for year round use that I could layer up under and wasn't finding much till my ex-pat best mate and now fully native Kiwi outdoorsman mention Swazi. The Torrent jacket seemed to fit the bill pretty well.
I couldn't find them for sale in the UK but ordering one directly from Swazi was easy, no issues at all just make sure to calculate your import duty so you don't get a surprise with that. Also make sure to double check your sizes on the Swazi site and get it right first time.
The coat arrived very quickly, and then promptly lost a popper off the storm flap the second day I wore it. A bit disappointing to say the least, but her name is in the coat so we can all blame Liza for that one. Never mind though, how a company manages a problem is where the good stand out.
Swazi has a European warranty repair partner with 'Scottish Mountain Gear' and the coat was booked in with then and shipper off before Christmas. The repair took a while due to covid delays but was covered under the warranty with no arguements from Swazi. Thumbs up for that.
Nearly three months after I bought it I've finally been able to wear it properly and in a range of weather conditions.
The material of the coat is light and thin, but quite rigid, it reminds me of modern sail cloth. It can feel quite odd to wear at times due to it's stiffness but you get used to it pretty quick. The weather proofing is excellent, a two…
