Get the outer layer right and the layering system works. It's the layer that everything else depends on. The outer layer sits over your mid layer and base layer, regulating temperature by shielding against wind, rain and abrasion while allowing moisture from perspiration to escape. Swazi outer layers are built from field-tested fabrics — AEGIS® Watershield for full waterproof protection, AEGIS® Windshield for windproof performance and New Zealand wool and Primaloft® for insulated options. Every piece is built to hold up in the conditions that matter — field-tested in New Zealand since 1994.
