Swazi ROAR Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion Period

The Swazi ROAR Competition runs from 12:00 AM NZDT on 28th February 2025 to 11:59 PM NZDT on 30th April 2025 (“Promotion Period”). All qualifying purchases, bonus entry submissions, and sign-ups must be completed within this period to be eligible for the prize draw.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The competition is open to individuals who:

  • Are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Are residents of New Zealand and other regions where Swazi ships.

2.2. The following individuals are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees of Swazi Apparel Ltd, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, and siblings).
  • Any person involved in the administration or execution of the competition.

2.3. Swazi reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.

3. How to Enter

3.1. Automatic Entry via Purchase

  • Participants will automatically receive one entry when they spend NZ$150 or more on Swazi product in a single transaction on Swazi.co.nz or Swazi.com (Swazi online store) during the Promotion Period.
  • Purchase value must meet the minimum threshold after discounts and before shipping costs to qualify.

3.2. Bonus Entries

  • Share Your Swazi / Mate, It’s a Must! Submission: Participants can earn additional bonus entries by submitting an original story and accompanying images from their 2025 Roar experience that align with the respective campaign guidelines.
  • New Swazi Clan Sign-Up: New customers who sign up to become a Swazi Clan member during the Promotion Period will receive two extra bonus entries into the draw.

3.3. Entry Limits

  • There is no limit on entries—each single transaction over the qualifying NZ$150 or more, counts as one separate entry.
  • Multiple bonus entries may be earned through eligible submissions and sign-ups.

4. Prize Details (Total Prize Value: NZ$1,129.96)

The winner will receive:

  • 1x Swazi Outer Layer Jacket (maximum value: NZ$599.99)
    • Selected from the Ultralite or Whisper range
  • 1x Swazi Mid Layer Fleece (maximum value: NZ$269.99)
    • Selected from the Polar Fleece range
  • 1x Buffalo Bag (valued at NZ$219.99)
  • 1x Swazi Legend Cap (valued at NZ$39.99)

4.1. The prize components must be selected from in-stock items at the time of redemption. Swazi is not obligated to manufacture or restock a specific product for the winner.

4.2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, store credit, or alternative products.

4.3. If the winner chooses an item valued below the maximum allocated amount, the remaining balance cannot be redeemed for other products or cash.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

5.1. The prize winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries on 7th May 2025 at Swazi’s headquarters in Ponsonby, New Zealand.

5.2. The winner will be notified via email and/or phone within fourteen (14) business days of the draw.

5.3. The winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification to claim their prize. If the winner fails to do so:

  • Swazi reserves the right to conduct a redraw and select a new winner.

5.4. The winner’s name may be published on Swazi’s website, email newsletter, and social media channels.

6. Privacy & Use of Entries

6.1. By entering the competition, participants consent to:

  • Swazi using their name, entry details, and submitted content (if applicable) for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Their entry being featured on Swazi’s website, email newsletters, or social media platforms.

6.2. Personal information provided will be handled in accordance with Swazi’s Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties outside of Swazi.

7. General Terms

7.1. Swazi reserves the right to:

  • Verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Terms & Conditions.
  • Modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time if unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, or events beyond Swazi’s control.

7.2. Swazi is not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, or incomplete entries due to technical issues.
  • Any additional costs incurred by the winner beyond the prize value (e.g., shipping fees, customs duties, or alterations to garments).

7.3. Participation in the competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

7.4. Any disputes regarding the competition will be handled in accordance with New Zealand law.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By entering this competition, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
