I don't understand
I really like the design of this fleece, and its very comfortable to wear. I had worn it a few times without exerting myself and found it very warm. On windier days i wore a light wind resistant fleece under it which cut the windchill on the arms, where there is no wind proofing on the Nahanni.
When i used it on an all day excursion and worked up a sweat on the hill i found a problem. Fleece is naturally warm to the touch, it just feels warm. However, the aegis material is cool to the touch, and when damp with sweat feels cold. So when i stopped and rested on my hill walk i felt the cold of the damp wind proofing on my back, as i was only wearing a light top under the nahanni. I would have had to have been wearing a warm fleece under the nahanni to keep out the cold feeling of the aegis, but wearing a warm fleece under it would have made it too warm whilst working up a sweat. The aegis material on the inside of the front of the jacket is sandwiched between two layers of fleece fabric, so the cold aegis fabric is not felt.
For a jacket that is said to be the go to jacket for cold conditions, i just wasn't expecting to feel cold in it. I don't understand how this has not been noticed before by other wearers, or by swazi. I will admit i was wearing a backpack, and so my back got damper with sweat, but my back shouldn't have felt cold...its the aegis material. The material that producers and feels warm is the fleece, and that's kept away from the body by the aegis material...at…

Warm and comfortable
I have been a fan of Swazi for a long time, the nahanni shirt is like all the Swazi range well designed and does the job, the extra length stops any chills can’t fault it.

Little tweak
Love this smock, warm windproof, pretty much live in it. But for the love of God change the sleeve design. The poppers are dreadful.

Can I cancel my order?
We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.
