AEGIS® Watershield Whisper Fabric
We were one of the first in the world to produce a soft, quiet, tough and durable rain garment. Made from a Polyester brushed tricot knit, with an eco-friendly 80/20 DWR (80% water-free in spray tests after 20 washes).
The outer layer, or shell as it is sometimes known, has a big job to do. It is your best form of defence against wind, rain and snow. Choose a garment that will do all of the above, not just by fabric, but by DESIGN!

Jacket best for low excursion and sheltered wet weather.
This jacket is best for moderate conditions and low excursion trips, despite being made of high rated weather proof material.
However, as a proffesional hunting guide I was disappointed with this jacket. Unlike the waterproof pocket zips, the front main zip is not water proof and it lacks outer flap protection. Rain seeps in after walking into the wind and rain over time. The full length zip, is bit restrictive, and also a single one which can't be vented from the bottom up, as you can with a double zip. So can be too warm with high excursion activities when you still want to ware it up, such as on a mild and wet day, doing a steep hill climb. The hood I also found annoying, as the stiff peak was a bit too short for good protection walking into rain, and when it was down getting in the way of my hat and shoulder straps. So for the money, not the best over jacket to be hunting in the hills. I see you can pay extra £100 for some of these features (this one lacks) and get the next jacket up, but I m not sure it's worth it.

The best item of clothes ive ever bought
I bought this on a whim after looking 1around for a really decent waterproof jacket and it being the brand of clothing ray mears uses ( he wouldnt any old shit ).
Ive been let down by a expensive mountain waterproof jacket recently so was looking forward to be able to go out for extended periods in the rain .I received the jacket and on inspection I was atchally blown away with the quality , ive had artrex jacket before ,helly Hanson ect ect and this is by far the highest quality of clothing I think i have ever bought regardless of the type , theres not a single stitch out of place , trust me, after seeing the quality I atchally took the time to look .
Its also really bloody waterproof , haven't got wet yet , and things like the velcro and elasticated cuffs are genius, dont have to re size evey time you take the jacket on and off .
10/10 - I'll be getting all of my outdoor clothing from here henceforth, could not reccomend enough
