The Kagoule’s extreme utility starts with our AEGIS® Watershield 3-Layer Whisper fabric, which is soft, light, very quiet and of course, very waterproof. It also sports a bit of stretch to give you extra movement, and a shorter nap (the outer fuzz that keeps it sneaky quiet) that allows the jacket to dry much faster.
Every pocket is perfectly placed to keep your gear close to hand and bone dry. And check out the chest pocket with a riveted radio antenna easement channeled through the rubber label. There’s even an opening within the jacket to allow microphone access. These two features are excellent for maintaining radio contact with hunting companions or monitoring a hunting dog.

We were one of the first in the world to produce a soft, quiet, tough, and durable rain garment. Made from a Polyester brushed tricot knit, with an eco-friendly 80/20 DWR (80% water-free in spray tests after 20 washes).
The outer layer, or shell as it is sometimes known, has a big job to do. It is your best form of defence against wind, rain, and snow. Choose a garment that will do all of the above, not just by fabric, but by DESIGN!
Very impressed with my Kagoule, true to size and super comfortable and soft jacket. Have worn it out on multiple hikes and has performed super well protecting me well while out on the tops. The chest pocket is huge and able to fit a heap in there. It would be nice to have a warmer “kangaroo” pocket (with a warm liner?) to stick your hands in while waiting around!

Where is the kangaroo?
Nice garment, very comfy. I’am still looking for the kangaroo in the big front pocket but could not find it….
I would prefer to have the big front pocket separated from the sides hand pockets, but it’s no problem at all !
And a fleece lining in the hand pockets would be nice too.
Very rainy hunt yesterday, the sleeves of my shirt were a bit damp but I guess I should have tightened the wrists… my bad…
Just this afternoon, another hunter wanted to buy my jacket which he thought was great! Swazy will conquer France !

The Kagoule
what a O for awesome piece of kit, this jacket is a xmas present for our 19 year old Son and he is going to be blown away, we have an extensive range of Swazi gear for myself my wife and our 2 young adult kids, Ive got a original Thar anorak in Camo which to date has been the mac daddy bit of swazi kit but im pretty sure with the new Kagoule in the crew im pushed back to 2nd, (till I buy my new Kagoule, dont tell the wife).

Best Jacket I Own
This jacket has made my other waterproof jackets redundant. It’s the go to outer layer in wet or windy weather for my. I’ve read reviews saying there are too many zips well for me it’s spot on, there’s plenty of room for all the stuff I carry everyday and if anything I’d be happy with another chest pocket on the other side as well.
It’s seriously waterproof and fits well, I should have gone up a size to allow for more layering but I just have to think about what my layers are for the conditions now.
I was concerned about beating this about on the farm but it seems to be putting up with it just fine. All in top notch jacket.
